Fermi LAT Weekly report N. 440


Covered period: 2016 November 7 - 13
LAT Mission week: 440.57-441.57


  • CTA 102 detected all week in high state with daily fluxes between about 1.8e-6 and 2.9e-6. A large optical activity is reported recently in some ATels.
  • 3C 454.3 detected all week with daily fluxes between about 1.3e-6 and 2.6e-6.
  • PKS 2247-131 detected all week with daily fluxes between about 1.0e-6 and 1.3e-6.
  • 4C +01.02 (PKS 0106+01) detected all week with daily fluxes between about 0.5e-6 and 1.1e-6.
  • NGC 1275 (Perseus A, 3C 84) detected all week with daily fluxes between about 0.5e-6 and 1.0e-6.
  • PKS 1424-41 detected all week with daily fluxes between about 0.3e-6 and 1.0e-6.
  • PKS 1502+106 (OR 103) detected all week with daily fluxes between about 0.3e-6 and 0.7e-6.
  • PKS 1824-582 detected almost all week with daily fluxes above 0.3e-6. The peak daily flux of 0.7e-6 was recorded on Nov. 12.
  • B2 0748+33 detected almost all week with daily fluxes between about 0.7e-6 and 0.8e-6. See more details about a dedicated Swift follow-up in ATel#9752.
  • MRC 1659-621 (PMN J1703-6212) detected in high state on Nov. 7 with daily flux 0.7e-6.
  • Other blazars of the week detected, also sporadically, around or below 0.5e-6: S5 1044+71, S4 1030+61, 1ES 1959+650, PKS 2155-304, PG 1553+113,  Mkn 421, TXS 0518+211 (Ver 0521+211), 1ES 1215+303, S3 0218+35 (gravitational lens B0218+357), PKS 0208-512, PKS 0426-380, PKS  0447-439, PKS 0454-234, PKS 0507+17, PKS 0524-485, PKS 0521-36, S5 0716+71, MG1 J050533+0415, 3C 66A, 4C +38.41 (B2 1633+38), PKS 0727-11,  PKS 2247-131, S5 1803+78, PKS 1510-08.
      

Fluxes are in the unit of photons/cm^2/s above 100 MeV. All uncertainties are statistical only.

Fermi LAT Weekly Report N. 439

LAT Mission week: 439.57 - 440.57

  • 3C 454.3 was detected all week with daily averaged fluxes between (2.1 +/- 0.3) and (4.5 +/- 0.5).
  • CTA 102 was detected Oct. 31 and Nov 4 with a daily averaged flux of (1.1 +/- 0.2) and (1.9 +/- 0.3), respectively.
  • Sporadic daily detections of blazars (fluxes below 1): PKS 1502+106, NGC 1275, PKS 0502+049, 4C +01.02, 1ES 1215+303, OX 169, OK 630, PKS B1424-418, PKS 0426-380, PKS 0447-439, TXS 0213+619 .

Fluxes are in the unit of 10-6 photons/cm2/s above 100 MeV. All errors are statistical only.

LAT Mission week: 438.57 - 439.57

  • 3C 454.3 was detected all week with daily averaged fluxes between (1.9 +/- 0.3) and (3.0 +/- 0.4).
  • CTA 102 was detected all week with daily averaged fluxes between (0.8 +/- 0.2) and (2.7 +/- 0.3).
  • S5 1044+71 was detected Oct. 26 with a daily averaged flux of (1.0 +/- 0.4).
  • Fermi LAT observed no significant gamma-ray excess associated with IceCube event 161103.
  • TOO observations of V5853 SGR were in progress after Oct. 25.
  • Sporadic daily detections of blazars (fluxes below 1): PKS 0507+17, PKS 1510-08, NGC 1275, MG2 J201534+3710, PKS 0524-485, PKS 0426-380, PKS 1502+106, 4C +01.02, BL Lacertae, S5 1053+70, B2 0716+33.

Fermi LAT Weekly report N. 437


Covered period: 2016 October 17-23
LAT Mission week:  437.57-438.57


  • The Crab is still in active state during the week, peaking with daily flux 5.4e-6 on Oct. 21.
  • PKS 2247-131 (recent ATel#9620) detected all week in high state with daily fluxes above 1e-6 and peaking on Oct. 17, Oct.18, Oct. 22 and Oct. 23 respectively with fluxes 2.1e-6, 2.2e-6, 2.6e-6 and 2.8e-6.
  • 4C +01.02 (PKS 0106+01) detected all week in high state with daily fluxes between 1e-6 and 1.9e-6.
  • 3C 454.3 detected all week with daily fluxes between about 0.9e-6 and 2.4e-6.
  • CTA 102 detected all week with daily fluxes between about 1.1e-6 and 1.6e-6.
  • Gravitationally lensed blazar S3 0218+35 (lens B0218+357) detected almost all  week with daily fluxes around 0.3e-6.
  • Other blazars of the week detected, also sporadically, around or below 0.5e-6: B2 0748+33, AO 0235+164, PKS 1502+106, PKS 0502+049, NGC 1275 (Per A), S5 1044+71, PKS 0426-380, TXS 1452+516, PKS 0524-485, PG 1553+113, PKS 0507+17, BL Lac, PKS 0336-01, 1ES 1959+650, S5 1053+70, PMN J0422-0643, PKS 1510-08, VER 0521+211, Mkn 421, PKS 2155-304, TXS 0628-240, 3C 66A, S4 1849+67.
