Fermi LAT weekly report N.178

LAT Mission week: 178.57 - 179.57





  • 4C +28.07 was very bright all week with daily flux above 0.9 X 10-6 and reaching the highest value on Nov. 2 (1.5 X 10-6).

  • PKS 0454-234 showed an increase of luminosity, with daily flux starting at 0.5 X 10-6 and culminating on Nov. 4 at 1.3 X 10-6.

  • B2 0716+33 was detected after Nov. 3 with flux decreasing from 0.8 to 0.3 X 10-6.

  • 4C +71.07 showed a flaring activity on Nov. 1 (daily flux 3.6 X 10-6) and remained active for the rest of the week (flux in the range 1.1-1.5 X 10-6).

  • OJ 287 was detected all week with daily flux in the range 0.8-1.6 X 10-6.

  • Mkn 421 was detected on Nov. 1, 4, and 5 with daily flux of 0.2 X 10-6.

  • B3 1343+451 was detected all week with daily flux in the range 0.4-0.9 X 10-6.

  • PKS 1510-08 was extremely bright all week long, with daily flux above 2.6 X 10-6 and reaching the maximum intensity on Nov. 2 and 3, with flux above 1.0 X 10-5.

  • BL Lac was detected on Oct. 31, and Nov. 1 and 6 with daily flux in the range 1.2-1.9 X 10-6.

  • PKS 2326-502 was detected all week with daily flux in the range 0.4-0.6 X 10-6.

  • PMN J2345-1555 showed a rising daily flux from 0.4 on Oct. 31 to 1.5 X 10-6 on Nov. 4. It faded afterwards reaching 0.6 X 10-6 by the end of the week.

  • Sporadic activity (fluxes below 1.0 X 10-6) observed from PKS 1124-186 (0.6 on Nov. 3 and 0.7 on Nov. 5), B2 1520+31 (0.5 on Nov. 4 and 0.2 on Nov. 5), PKS 0301-243 (0.2 on Nov. 2), PKS 0524-485 (0.4 on Oct. 31), OG 050 (0.6 on Nov. 5), AP Lib (0.8 on Nov. 4), and Mkn 501 (0.4 on Nov. 3)



Fluxes are in the units of photons/cm2/s above 100 MeV. All errors are statistical only.

Source association is done on the basis of source location, considering spatial coincidence only, and it is not indicative of an identification.
