LAT Mission week: 269.57 - 270.57

  • Blazar 4C +38.41 (B2 1633+38) always in high state, detected all week with a daily averaged flux between (1.9 ± 0.2) and (2.2 ± 0.3).
  • PKS 0440-00 in high state on the last days of July, reaching a maximum on July 30 with a daily averaged flux of (3.2 ± 0.4).
  • PKS 0754+241 had a short flare (6-12 hours) between July 31 and August 1, reaching a flux of (2.5 ± 0.7) at its peak.
  • PKS 1424-41 was detected on August 2 with a daily averaged flux of (1.5 ± 0.3) and August 3 (0.9 ± 0.3).
  • PKS 0454-234 was detected on July 29, July 31 and August 1, with daily averaged flux between (0.5 ± 0.2) and (0.9 ± 0.3) reached on August 1.
  • 3C 279 detected on July 29, July 30, July 31 and August 3 with daily averaged flux between (0.7 ± 0.3) and (1.0 ± 0.3).
  • Sporadic daily detections of blazars during the week, with daily flux value equal or below 0.7 are: PMN J2345-1555, Mkn 421, PKS 0426-380, NGC 1275, B2 2319+31, 3C 454.3, and 4C +01.02.

Fluxes are in the unit of photons/cm^2/s above 100 MeV. All uncertainties are statistical only.

Note. All the flux reported above are by the ASP analysis and should be considered preliminary and should not be used for publication, however they are indicative of the flux range and the current status of a source. Source association is done on the basis of source location, considering spatial coincidence only, and it is not indicative of an identification.
