Fermi LAT weekly report N. 299

Covered period: February 24- March 02 2014
LAT Mission week: 299.57 - 300.57

  • Flares from gamma-ray sources PKS 0458-02 and B2 1144+40 (S4 1144+40) were detected on March. 2 with a peak daily averaged fluxes of (0.9 +/- 0.3) . See ATel#5951.
  • PKS B1424–418 was detected all week with a daily averaged flux between (0.5 +/- 0.2) and (0.9 +/- 0.2).
  • 4C +21.35, B2 1520+31 and PKS 2326–502 were seen three times this week with daily averaged flux value respectively between (0.9 +/- 0.2) - (0.7 +/- 0.3), (0.4 +/- 0.1) -(0.7 +/- 0.2) and (0.5 +/- 0.1) - (0.6 +/- 0.1).
  • PKS 0256+075 and 3C 454.3 were detected in the middle of the week with maximum daily flux of (0.7 +/- 0.2) and (1.4 +/- 0.3).
  • 3C 279 was seen during the last two days of the week with fluxes of (2.4 +/- 0.4) and (3.6 +/- 0.4).
  • Other blazars detected sporadically (fluxes < 1): S5 1044+71,4C +01.02,Mkn 421,PKS 1622–29,PKS 0301–243,PKS 2155–304,PKS 0537–441, PMN J0422–0643, PKS 2032+107,IC 310.

Fluxes are in the unit of 10-6 photons/cm2/s above 100 MeV. All errors are statistical only.

Note. All the fluxes reported above are from the ASP analysis and should be considered preliminary and should not be used for publication, however they are indicative of the flux range and the current status of a source. Source association is done on the basis of source location, considering spatial coincidence only, and it is not indicative of an identification.
