Fermi LAT Weekly report N. 307

Covered period: 2014.Apr.20 - 2014.Apr.27
  LAT Mission week:307.57 - 308.57

  • TXS 1530-131 showed activity after a long quiescent period, reaching a peak flux of 1.8 ± 0.4 on April 24.
  • PKS 1730–13 became active after a long quiescent period, reaching a peak flux of 1.1 ± 0.3 on April 24.
  • 3C 454.3 has shown activity during the week, reaching a peak flux of 2.3 ± 0.6 on April 22.
  • 3C 279 was detected with flux between 0.6 and 1.
  • OP 313 was detected at the 1.0 ± 0.2 flux level on April 26.
  • Sporadic daily detections of blazars (fluxes below 1): S5 0716+71, PKS 0336–01, PKS 0426–380, Mkn 421, OJ 287, NGC 1275, PMN J2345–1555, PKS 0426–380, PMN J0948+0022, PKS 2227–08, PKS 0454–234, PKS 2326–502.
  • PKS B1424–418 was detected during the week with flux between 0.6 and 1.3.
  • A non-2FGL gamma-ray source was detected during the week between April 14 and April 21, 2014 by the FAVA automatic analysis (M. Ackermann et al. 2013 ApJ 771 57) at a flux level of 0.77 ± 0.13 (ATel#6098) . The preliminary best-fit location of the gamma-ray source is RA = 100.383 deg, Dec = -3.294 deg, with 95% confidence that the source is within 0.25 deg of this position (statistical errors only).

Fluxes are in the unit of 10-6 photons/cm^2/s above 100 MeV. All uncertainties are statistical only.

Note. All the flux reported above are from the ASP analysis and should be considered preliminary and should not be used for publication, however they are indicative of the flux range and the current status of a source. Source association is done on the basis of source location, considering spatial coincidence only, and it is not indicative of an identification.
