Fermi LAT Weekly Report N. 276

Covered period: 2013.Sep.16 - 2013.Sep.22
LAT Mission week: 276.57 - 277.57

  • PKS 1510-089 dominated the gamma-ray sky this week with daily fluxes in the range (1.5 - 6.4).  A Swift ToO was triggered and the observed fluxes indicate that this blazar was also flaring in the X-ray band (see http://www.swift.psu.edu/monitoring/source.php?source=PKS1510-089 for more information). We thank the Swift team for their support.
  • 3C 454.3, 4C +38.41 and PKS 0454-234 also deserve notable mention, with recurrent daily detections and fluxes above 1.
  • Other sources detected several days of the week (with fluxes below 1): Mkn 421, 3C 279, PKS 0426-380, NGC 1275, PKS 2326-502
  • Sporadic activity (detected only one or two days,  fluxes below 1): 4C +21.35, PKS 1424-418, PKS 0250-225, PKS 2155-304 , CTA 102,  4C +55.17.

Note. All the fluxes reported above are from the ASP analysis and should be considered preliminary and should not be used for publication, however they are indicative of the flux range and the current status of a source. Source association is done on the basis of source location, considering spatial coincidence only, and it is not indicative of an identification.

- Please acknowledge the LAT team if you use information from this report.
