Fermi LAT Weekly report N.401



Covered period: 2016.Feb.08 - 2016.Feb.14
LAT Mission week: 401.57 - 402.57

  • 3C 454.3 detected all week with a daily flux between (1.7±0.3) and (5.2±0.4).
  • CTA 102 in outburst state during the week with daily fluxes between (2.3 ± 0.3) and (7.0 ±0.5).See GCN 1455119454.
  • MG2 J201534+3710 detected on 13 Feb with daily flux (1.2± 0.3).
  • OJ 287 detected on 16 Feb with daily flux (0.9± 0.02).See GCN 1455119534.
  • Sporadic activity (fluxes below 1): PKS 1502+106, 3C 279, PKS B1424–418, NGC 1275, 4C +01.02, 1ES 1959+650, PMN J2141–6411, TXS 0846+051, BL Lacertae, GB6 J1001+2911, 4C +38.41, B2 1846+32A, TXS 2241+406, S5 0716+71, 1ES 1215+303, Ton 599, AO 0235+164, S5 0836+71

Fluxes are in the unit of 10-6photons/cm2/s above 100 MeV. All errors are statistical only.

Fermi LAT Weekly report N. 399


Covered period: 2016 January 25-31
LAT Mission week: 399.57-400.57

  • Flare of the FSRQ PKS 0514-459 (RX J0515.7-4556, z=0.194), detected for the first time with daily flux level 0.8e-6 on Jan. 25 (see ATel#8595 for more details). It was also detected on Jan. 26. The source is located 0.18 degrees from the radio blazar candidate PMN J0514-4554 and at 0.73 degrees from the radiogalaxy Pictor A.
  • Outburst activity of CTA 102 has continued all week with daily flux level between 2.3e-6 and 4.0e-6, peaking on Jan. 25 and 29.
  • 3C 454.3 with daily fluxes between 2.7e-6 and 3.9e-6.
  • PKS 1502+106 in flaring activity with daily fluxes between 0.9e-6 and 1.3e-6, peaking on Ja. 28 and 30.
  • The gravitationally lensed blazar PKS 1830-211 in flaring activity with daily fluxes between 0.9e-6 and 1.3e-6, peaking on Jan. 28 and 30.
  • 3C 279 detected in the second half of the week with daily fluxes around 0.9e-6.
  • PKS 1424-41 with daily fluxes between 0.6e-6 and 0.8e-6.
  • AO 0235+164 with daily fluxes between 0.5e-6 and 0.7e-6.
  • BL Lac with daily fluxes between 0.3e-6 and 0.7e-6. A hard state of the source was observed on Jan. 28 with spactral photon index (E>100MeV) of 1.6 and a few photons above 10 GeV.
  • S5 0836+71 (4C +71.07) with daily fluxes between 0.4e-6 and 0.7e-6.
  • PKS 0106+01 (4C +01.02) and PKS 2023-07 both detected in high state on Jan. 30 with daily flux level 0.7e-6.
  • ON 393 (B2 1255+32, z=0.805949) is a FSRQ detected for one of the first times in a daily interval on Jan 28. Values are daily flux 0.3e-6 and hard photon index 1.7.
  • Flare of TXS 0358+210 (GB6 J0401+2110, z=0.834) detected at 0.5e-6 on Jan. 30.
  • Increased activity of the TeV blazar 1ES 1215+303 detected on Jan. 30 with daily flux level 0.2e-6 and photon index 1.6. Alternatively another TeV blazar 1ES 1218+304 could be associated with this detection.
  • Other blazars of the week detected, also sporadically, around or below about 0.5e-6: Mkn 421, Mkn 501, PKS 0454-234, B2 0110+31 (4C +31.03), PMN J2345-1555, PKS 2155-304, S4 1749+70, NGC 1275 (Per A, 3C 84), PKS 1313-333, PKS 0208-512, 1ES 1959+650, B2 1144+40, B2 1520+31, PKS 1717+177, B2 1633+38 (4C +38.41), S4 1030+61, B2 1846+32B.
      

Fluxes are in the unit of photons/cm^2/s above 100 MeV. All uncertainties are statistical only.
